Elsa Ribal offers rider education and coaching of horse and rider combinations built on international experience and the clarity of a professional educator. With a foundation in French showjumping and over 15 years competing in Australian eventing alongside her husband, 5★ event rider Joel Funnell, Elsa understands what it takes to progress at every stage of the sport.
EA qualified and a teacher of more than 14 years, Elsa combines technical knowledge and experience with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Her approach is structured, practical, and always tailored to the individual rider and horse. Helping you train with calm confidence for step by step progression.

Every session is designed to support the rider’s own ambitions, whether that means building confidence, strengthening technique, or preparing for the demands of higher competition.

Professional Facilities
Based at Somersby Eventing, riders train with direct access to exceptional facilities including dedicated dressage arenas, show jumping courses, and cross-country schooling.
